PART SEVEN: THE MAGIC BOOK
The book suddenly opened wide with sparks
of light shooting everywhere. The men both gasped
in amazement. The mysterious lady smiled.
THE STRANGE BOOK:
As they both had look into the book, they see the pages fall open
to a scene of someone sleeping soundly on a chair. The home they
had suddenly appeared in, had seemed familiar. And then it had
dawned on them. They were looking at themselves!
For Robin, he looking at himself on that page.
And for the warrior Henry, the same. And there was
a story written about what had happens to them
there and they could read it.
It talked about how there were times in their lives where
they had lacked the courage to do something bold and new. They had
missed the chance because of a little risk. They had decided to stay home
where it was safe and let life forever stay the same. They had not risked growing
or moving forward. They had both by-passed potential joy and pain
and the chance to learn something new.
And then the words changed again. This time they saw
the same picture of themselves sleeping but the words were different.
This time it had said: "Will you not go forward? Will you not persevere?
Will you head forward away from safety and accomplish something of consequence?"
"Hmm..." Robin whispered aloud to himself. Then
he remembered standing at the walls of the arch once more.
The words "know thyself" suddenly stood out again
from the Archway. The message made him think...
Suddenly Henry turned the page...
Now they saw themselves walking up the path through the mountains.
For a moment they relived again what they had just come through.
They met each other near the waterfall. Then meeting the strange girl...
The book and then the scene CHANGED again!
